In the middle of Bern you will find this fantastic vaulted cellar, where you and your guests will be spoiled with the finest culinary delights.

Unique dining experience

The villa with its classicist main front stands directly on the Aare. It was built in the middle of the 19th century, incorporating significant parts of the medieval preacher tower - and here you will find the pampering room in the vaulted cellar and the adjacent garden. With its old sandstone walls, the historic vaulted cellar radiates a special atmosphere. Here pleasure is written in capital letters. In the vaulted cellar we serve groups of 25 to 120 people.


Winter garden and view of the Aare

The modern adjoining conservatory with its large glass front offers a wonderful and calming view of the leisurely flowing water of the Aare. In the winter garden we pamper groups of 25 to 100 guests.


The chef

The competent chef will fulfil your culinary wishes in every respect. Thanks to his comprehensive training at Westminster College in London and further training in various hotel and restaurant businesses in England and Switzerland, he knows all facets of international cuisine. Let him and his team spoil you and your palate.

Specialities from all over the world are served, but whenever possible with organic and regional products.

    Roast veal stuffed with figs and gorgonzola, served with baked potatoes, red onions in balsamic vinegar
    Cinnamon yoghurt cream with apples and raisins

    corn poulard, filled with spinach, mozzarella and dried tomatoes, served with saffron noodles
    Warm chocolate cake with liquid inside, with vanilla ice cream

    Carrot and sweet potato soup with coconut milk and ginger, garnished with a tuna skewer
    Fillet of beef with port sauce, honey shallot, potato-broccoli puree
    Caramelized apple tart, garnished with cream
