Food Top of Bern
The event begins at the foot of the cathedral, with the ascent to the tower. You climb over 300 steps up the cathedral tower. The ascent and descent are done together as a group. Please note that there is no elevator. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a view over the rooftops of Bern.
You can enjoy an aperitif (up to 50 people) or a multi-course meal (up to 30 people) in the meeting rooms or in the large hall. The main attraction on the cathedral is the large vaulted hall at a height of over 60 meters, which is located above the old tower keeper's apartment and the tower kitchen and from which you have a 360° view of Bern's old town. The experience will remain in your memory thanks to the flair of the cathedral combined with the delicious food.

Apéro riche with dessert
- Sesame cornet with dark sesame, filled with a cream made from local potatoes and a tartare of Urten beef, garnished with chives
- Homemade rosemary focaccia with eight-month matured Hofer prosciutto and marinated fresh goat's cheese
- Salty tartelette filled with marinated celery salad, apple cream and fresh radish slices
- Homemade grissini, refined with herb salt
- Onsen egg cooked at 64° for 60 minutes until soft, with steamed leek, potato espuma and refined with freshly sliced Belper tuber
- Polenta flan refined with saffron
- Crispy pulled pork croquette with spicy BBQ sauce and mini sorrel sprouts
- Modern interpretation of the crème slice with puff pastry, vanilla cream and Gruyère double cream
- Vegan apple pie with apple and hazelnut crème, served with caramelized hazelnut crunch
3-course menu
- White asparagus foam soup from the Belper asparagus with fresh flowers and tarragon oil
- Flat iron steak cooked pink for 16 hours with hearty beef jus, glazed spring vegetables and potato mille-feuille
- Modern interpretation of the crème slice with puff pastry, vanilla cream, Chardonnay and Gruyère double cream
